Windows
Launch the downloaded file with a double click and follow the instructions.
After installation, the dictionary can be launched through Start > Programs > ‹PUBLISHER› > ‹PRODUCT›.

Linux

1. In a terminal window select to the resource where the FileName.sh file has been downloaded and make it executable by typing in:
   chmod + x FileName.sh
and pressing Enter.
2. If you have downloaded the zipped file directly from the Ftp (FileName.tar.gz), unzip it by typing:
   tar -xzf FileName.tar.gz
and pressing Enter.
3. Then install the dictionary using the command
   ./FileName.sh
and pressing Enter.
4. After installing it, the dictionary can be launched by going into your own Home directory and then to the directory with the name of the product.
Type in the command
   ls
which visualises the list of files contained; the file with extension .sh is the executable file that is used to launch the product using the command
   ./ProductName.sh
and pressing Enter.
In the case of bilingual dictionaries, there are two executable files which correspond to the interface language.
5. After installation on Linux you can also create a launcher for the Applications menu.
How to do this depends on the distribution; let’s give an example for Ubuntu:
- choose System > Preferences > Main Menu > New Item
- In the Name field enter the name of the dictionary
- In the Command field, using the Explore button, enter the full path of the "edPan" file which is found in the folder where the dictionary has been installed.
