UPGRADE TO THE NEW VERSION
OF DOWNLOADABLE APPS

must carefully verify the choice of the installer fit to your operative system.

Remember that versions for outdated systems (Windows XP/Vista, Mac OS fino a 10.14) are no longer updated: should you choose one of these systems, you can only download the latest version available before January 2021.
“Very old” versions on CD-Roms bundled before 2010 with some paper dictionaries are no longer supported.

Upgrade
Customers already owning a license for one of our downloadable dictionaries, purchased directly on our website, or found inside a paper dictionary but with the software downloaded from our website (i.e., not CD-Rom version) may upgrade to the new version.
You need one of the following operative systems:
• Windows 7, 10, 11 at 64 bit
• Mac OS starting from 10.15 (Catalina)
• a recent gtk Linux distribution at 64 bit.

In these cases, you just need to follow this simple procedure:
1) de-install the old version (should it be already installed)
2) log into this website and go to the page of your dictionary
3) click DOWNLOAD on the right side of the page and choose your platform and OS.

Nota:
If the old version of the app has not been correctly uninstalled, you may get an error message. Click here for the solution to this problem.
In Windows 10, should Microsoft Defender SmartScreen prevent from the execution of the installer, just click on 'More informations' and then choose the option to run the app however.
Our apps are certified as virus-free; should your antivirus software make any exception, just allow its execution.
